Mihajlovic leaves Bologna and there is a Portuguese candidate to succeed him

The Italian press guarantees that the coach, who has been fighting leukemia since 2019, has already left the technical command of the club, which is considering hiring Paulo Sousa for his position.

The main Italian press advances this Tuesday that Bologna has decided to remove Sinisa Mihajlovic from the technical command of the club, who has not yet won this season and is 16th in Serie A.

Although Bologna has not yet announced the departure of the Serbian coach, who has been fighting leukemia since 2019, Mihajlovic would have already left the club, and the Gazzetta dello Sport advances some names that lead the race for his succession.

Paulo Sousa appears on that list, who has been free on the market since leaving Flamengo in June. The Portuguese coach has experience in the Italian league, where he already managed Fiorentina between 2015 and 2017.

Thiago Motta and Claudio Ranieri are the other names being considered to succeed Mihajlovic at Bologna.
